Did you know that every new WordPress site begins the same way?
One default post. Two words.
“Hello world!” has been included in WordPress installs since the platform’s earliest public releases in 2003. It’s a quiet nod to programming tradition, the simplest possible output used to confirm that something works. In WordPress, it’s proof that publishing works. The system is alive.
So I’m keeping it.
This site is my space to dogfood WordPress features, experiment with full site editing, and write about whatever happens to be on my mind, tech, books, sports, parenting, life in the Berkshires, or something else entirely.
Just a person thinking in public.
